Role & Mission
The Department of Registrar Recorder/County Clerk registers voters, maintains voter files, conducts Federal, State, local and special elections and verifies initiatives, referendums and recall petitions.
Services
The Department conducts primary and general elections and approximately 200 city, school and special district elections annually. The Department also records real property; maintains vital records of birth, death, and marriage; issues marriage licenses; and processes business filings and other documents.
